  A faded JW about to see the Circuit overseer

  so my mum who is in and really is finding it hard that i have left and faded.

  shes asked me if i want to the the circuit overseer next week.. i have never met him and this is more my mum wanting me to get my problems i have with the organisation out.

  but should i share everything i've learnt or what?.

  I've had an elder hounding me for months now. Phone calls, text messages. I don't answer his phone calls. I delete his texts. He does it at weird hours too. Once he texted me at 12:30am for some reason. Fuck that guy

  there was/is a sister in my old hall who was a pharmaceutical sales rep and she was a huge proponent of anything in the drug industry.

  when someone had a headache, she was the first to say "take an asprin.

  " now my husband and i are what you might call old hippies.

  it was my favorite meeting by far.

  mainly because it was a small group.

  Honestly, after the 4th time we did the Revelation book and those two fucking books about Isaiah (in which every prophecy in the book has the same exact fulfillment) I was pretty much done with the book study.

  In all the years of handing out memorial invitations, I can think of zero people that ever just showed up off the street because of the invite. The other people attending were always family members of JWs or inactive ones.
